biograph.
Mark has been active as an artist, songwriter, producer, and engineer since the mid 90s. He has produced artists such as Dove Award winner Christa Wells, CASC winner Jason Harrod, jazz great Chip Crawford, John Lennon Songwriting Award winner Nathan Asher, and Independent Weekly Top Ten artist Karl Ruch.

As an artist in his own right, it was primarily his sophomore release, journals of a recovering skeptic, that first drew the attention of press and peers. With it, Mark found a solid fanbase on college radio and won critical acclaim in both the US and the UK.

It's been quite a while since we've heard anything from Mark as an artist, though. The last album he released of his own songs was way back in 2001, with becoming the moon. He's been in the studio quite a lot since the summer of 2009, finally working on his own original material again. His new album (as yet untitled) is scheduled for release in December 2010.

In the years between becoming the moon and the forthcoming 2010 release, Mark spent most of his time on "the other side of the glass" in recording, producing, and mixing. You can find out more about his studio escapades by heading over to the produce tab.
